Land Fill Sites

Whether working for Local Authorities, Private companies, or on our own developments, Ruttle have the experience, knowledge and ability to manage, maintain and construct Landfill sites.

Quarries

The Ruttle Group have owned and operated their own Quarries around the North West for years, and with the recent acquisition of 2 further quarries will ensure our position at the fore front of supplier of aggregates in the North West.

Modular Washing Plant

Ruttle’s recent investment in a Modular Wash Plant has been so successful, we have decided to invest in 2 further plants, again, keeping us ahead of our competitors.

Recycled Soils & Aggregates

Ruttle were the first Company in the North West to establish a Waste Transfer Station, coupled with the huge land mass at their Chorley Facility, in excess of 12 acres, lending itself to the process of storing, re-cycling, crushing and grading various products from soils to sands and aggregates.

Demolition

Over the last couple of years Ruttle have endeavoured to offer their clients the full spectrum of skills to complete any Remediation contract and with the large and varied scope of Machinery and attachments owned by their Plant Hire department, have added an experienced work force to enhance the companies capabilities.

Soil Stabilisation

In 2003 Ruttle Contracting invested in the growing market of Soil Stabilisation, with the acquisition of their first Wirtgen Integrated machine, and with continued investment in the associated equipment are able to provide a complete Remediation package.

Landscaping

Ruttle as a founder member of the British Association of Landscape Industries, or BALI, have carried out numerous contracts, complimenting Remediation Packages, by having a trained and skilled workforce capable of fulfilling any scheme.

Land Remediation

Since Ruttle Contracting was first formed in the early 1980’s, Ruttle have been carrying out Remediation scheme’s on Brownfield sites, encountering every conceivable problem, giving us, the wealth of experience we have today.

Ruttle have undertaken Major Earthwork projects the length and breadth of the Country, utilising the vast array of Plant and Equipment owned by their Plant company, working for every major Construction Company, see the list of our Partners below.

No Contracting Scheme is too large

The Ruttle Group of Companies has had a Construction arm since the formation of Ruttle Contracting in 1982 , operating predominantly between the Groups 3 offices in Chorley, Chesterfield and Birmingham. Covering a vast array of varying works, for a wide range of clients from BNG (Sellafield Ltd) at Sellafield to the redevelopment of BAE Systems at Salmesbury. Also assisting with the construction of the Ribble Link Canal, and a number of Coastal Defence projects around the British Isles.

Whilst retaining an old and established list of clients through repeat business, the company are consciously striving to create new relationships with a number of Major Construction companies on large projects around the UK. Maintaining a long-established core business, of remediation, and continual development of the Waste Transfer Station at Chorley recently adding a Modular Washing Plant to the facility.

Ruttle Contracting retains the advantage of the support of Ruttle Plant and the vast range of Plant and Machinery at their disposal, coupled with their considerable Transport arm means no scheme is too large, enabling the company to bid for works both small and large. Be it minor muck shifts from building sites to the expansion of the London Docklands on multi-million pound Project’s.
