Plant Safety
Here at Ruttle Plant, we are continuously looking at ways of improving the safety aspects of all, of our plant and equipment.
All our plant is fully equipped with the very latest in health and safety technology. They are all fitted with audible reverse alarms and all excavators come as standard, with dual-locking quick hitches, reversing cameras and check valves on hydraulic cylinders.
All Wagons are supplied with reverse travel alarms and reverse cameras.
Every Ruttle machine goes through an extensive pre-delivery inspection before it arrives on site, ensuring that when it starts work, it is in safe working order.
Security
All our equipment is fitted with the latest Fleet management technology and state of the art software to maximise your machine’s efficiency and minimise the risk of theft, vandalism and other abuse.
We are able to monitor critical functions on your machine, receiving alerts as to potential issues and abuse, giving us the opportunity to remedy them and minimise downtime.
Operator Training
Ruttle Plant is totally committed to the ongoing improvement of health and safety performance throughout its organisation and is always looking to exceed the recommended best practice. This is done by continuously assessing our own and our client’s requirements.
Ruttle Plant accept nothing less than Zero Harm throughout all areas of our business. All our operators have been fully trained and have been issued with the Construction Plant Competence Scheme card – operated and regulated by CITB – which is the main accepted proof of an operator’s competence on a UK construction site, taken further by our own in house training to comply with HSE guidelines.
In addition to in-house training and CPCS cards our 360 operators have CPCS Lifting Operations category.
